- All tennis coaching courses must be booked and paid in advance on a 'first come first served basis' and require a minimum number of players for the courses to run and be cost effective.
- All tennis balls and court hire is provided by the club. Players are required to bring their own tennis racquet.
- If payment is not made online then course fees must be paid by cheque / PO in advance, and sent by post at the time of booking. 5 working days will be allowed for payment to be received. Late payments may be charged an administration fee of £3.00 if a reminder email or text message is sent out.
- All Coaching courses take place on a termly basis equivalent to the school term. (Usually 5-7 weeks). Fees vary each term depending on the number of weeks in the term.
- Players must book and pay the full course fee in advance for the full term before the start of the course to ensure a full compliment of players are enroled. Courses may be cancelled due to low numbers enrolling no later than the second week of the course. In this instance, the player will be offered a similar course at another time. If this is not convenient then the course fee received will be refunded in full.
- Players must turn up promptly for the start of each session and there will be a short warm up period before the lesson commences.
- In the event of a tennis session being cancelled due to inclement weather, the time will be added to the following lessons or an additional session will be provided. If this is not possible, the coach will advise you of this. In this instance a refund will be processed via Pay Pal for all Online bookings or by cheque (excluding a small administration fee) for postal payments. No refund will be issued for non attendance on a course.
- If a session has to be abandoned and over 50% of the class has taken place, no refund will be issued.
- If a session has to be cancelled by the club in advance for any reason, all members will be sent a text message to their mobile phone. (This is subject to sufficient time available). A refund will be provided at the end of the course / programme for members who pay by cheque. This will be sent by post. If the booking and payment is made by Credit /Debit card online, then a refund will be processed via 'Pay Pal'.
- Places are limited on all coaching courses. If a player does not attend the first week of the course or cannot continue their enrollment on a coaching programme, their place may be allocated to another player.
- Players may be able to join a course once the programme has commenced. This will be at the discretion of the club tennis coach and will be advised at the time of booking. A Full payment may still be required.
- If a player withdraws from a course after the second week of the start date no refund of course fees will be awarded. However, in exceptional circumstances 50% of the course fee may be offered as a refund.
- Players should avoid using a mobile telephone on court during lessons. This can be disruptive both to the coach and other players. If there are special circumstances for a participant to have a mobile telephone on during the lesson, please consult the coach of this before the lesson starts. Players should leave the court to answer or make telephone calls.
- The club cannot take responsibility for any valuables lost during a tennis session. Participants are advised to ensure that any valuable items are not left on court.
- All participants must provide details of any medical condition that may affect their performance during the lesson (eg asthma, diabetes etc) on the booking form when enrolling on a course. The tennis coach must also be advised of this condition at the start of the programme. . Participants should also ensure they have the appropriate medication required e.g. inhaler etc.
